All visits are by appointment only. Minimum workshop labour charge is £40.

The essentials required to ensure your bike is running as it should be. The gears and brakes are fully serviced and tuned, the wheels and frames components are all checked for play and adjusted for smooth running.
Note: Any additional parts that require replacing are charged separately. We will advise you of any parts required and pricing accordingly. Internal routing frames +£10, eBike +£20

Full strip down of drivetrain components, cleaned, re assembled, set up and lubricated. Brake system removed and cleaned (caliper). Wheels checked for true.

Your pride and joy stripped to a bare frame and meticulously examined, cleaned and polished. Components examined for wear, cleaned or replaced then re fitted. Wheels trued and re tensioned if needed. You bike will look like new!

If you buy a new bike online and need it built, look no further. Our PDI will ensure the bike is built correctly, along with every bolt being torqued to the correct standards. This ensures your bike is as it should be and safe to ride.
All components fitted to the bike (Stems, handlebars, wheels, pedals, etc…)
Gears are indexed and tuned.
Brakes are fitted correctly and adjusted.
Chain lubricated if necessary.
Wheels are checked and trued if required. Tyres inflated to correct pressure.
Whole bike is checked and torqued to correct setting.

I’VE BEEN fixing bikes SINCE FOREVER
I’ve been in love with wheels since before I could walk. Riding BMX, MTB, and motorcycle trials for 35 years, always tinkering and modifying my collection. At 15 I was building wheels for a local bike shop, fixing and maintaining bikes for friends and family. I then spent 20 years making my money as a mechanical/electrical engineer and fabricator.
Today I run HunterBikeCo full-time, personally dealing with anything from a simple pair of grips to a full on motor swap on your E-bike.
I’m Cytech qualified, including the latest E-bike course. I have a fully equipped workshop ready for any project, including full restorations, suspension servicing and custom components.
I’m an independent mechanic, not tied to any brand. I’ll always recommend the best outcome for you. I can provide a level of care and attention that the big shops simply can’t offer.
